Erika Kachama-Nkoy
is a Web developer and recently re-located to Madison, Wisconsin
with her husband Brian. This trip was her first return to Africa
since she left Zaïre in 1972. She can't wait to go back and
is preening for her new passport photo.

Brian Anderson
(on the right)
was a Peace Corps recruiter at the time of this trip and had long
yearned to return to Africa since his '90-'92 Peace Corps service
in Liberia and Namibia. Today Brian develops literacy and TEFL tutoring
programs in Madison, Wisconsin.

James Cope + Charlotta Nuboer-Cope
were the Andersons' hosts in Lomé. They met Brian years ago
in Namibia and lived throughout Africa off and on for ten years.
They now live in England.
