Glyn + Pheretha Thomas
were the Copes' neighbors and friends from the British School. Glyn
frequently displayed his Welsh gift for stories, equaled only by
his Liberian wife's own tales.

taught French at the British School and was among the Copes' best friends. Priya's saucy humor was the perfect antidote to the occasional stuffiness of academic life. |

is from Ghana and worked as the Copes excellent housekeeper. In
